 Canton High
School's motto is "Making Excellence a Tradition." It is with pride that
we challenge our students to be the very best that they can be in every
facet of the school environment - academics, athletics, fine arts, and
extracurricular activities. It is our desire to see our students grow to
the point where they can successfully assume all of their
responsibilities in a mature fashion. The success of our students is of
utmost importance to the faculty and administration and we commit our
energy and resources to this purpose. The fact that Canton High School
has earned Exemplary status under the TEA accountability system is
evidence that the needs of our students are taken seriously by the
faculty and staff.
