Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Reading Interventionist to join our team at Canton Elementary School. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our mission to enhance the reading skills of our students and help them reach their full academic potential.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
Master's Degree in Reading
Valid Texas teaching Certificate
Skills:
1. Excellent communication skills.
2. Strong knowledge of reading intervention strategies and techniques.
3. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other school staff.
4. Strong organizational and planning skills.
5. Strong ability to motivate and engage students in a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Implement reading intervention programs for students who are reading below grade level.
2. Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
3. Collaborate with teachers and parents to provide updates on student progress and suggest additional strategies for improvement.
4. Develop and maintain a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
5. Participate in professional development activities to stay updated on the latest reading intervention strategies and techniques.
