District of Innovation History
Canton ISD developed a plan to become a District of Innovation and the Board approved it in May of 2016. The plan is subject to be revised every 5 years.
Canton ISD renewed its District of Innovation Plan, which was approved by the Board of Trustees on May 17, 2021. The plan will remain in effect until it is due for revision in 2026.
Canton ISD revised to the District of Innovation Plan and presented those revisions to the Board on March 18, 2024 and was approved.
Canton ISD renewed its District of Innovation Plan, which was approved by the Board of Trustees on March 16, 2026. The plan will remain in effect until it is due for revision in 2031.
