District Curriculum

The Canton ISD Curriculum Department coordinates and oversees the district curriculum, classroom instruction, local and state assessments and the professional development for the district.  The department works with campus principals and teachers to design and implement engaging learning opportunities to enhance student achievement.  

The TEKS are the state standards for what students should know and be able to do.
